About this Event
The workshop is open to all designers and those who are interested in design and is completely free to attend, you are also welcome to come and go as you please on the day. It will take place over the course of two weekends, there are four possible dates to attend the workshop (please check the home page if you would rather attend another date).
The workshop will involve taking part in design briefs that encourage you to design through nature in a fun and engaging way. When you arrive you will be provided with the DOTB manifesto as well as the workshop briefs. You will then pick one (or more) briefs to take part in using your surroundings in the process (I will provide certain basic tools such as paper, pens, scissors etc). Finally before you leave you will be asked to complete the mandatory brief which involves creating your own manifesto for designing in nature.
The workshop will hopefully provide an enjoyable stress-free break from the pressures of your day-to-day design job as well as hopefully encouraging you to think about nature in your process as well as helping with creative block.
