About this Event
Calling all design educators, design students and interested professionals!
Join us for a packed agenda as we create a forum to share experiences in embedding sustainability into design education. Thanks to the generosity of design educators in Ireland, we will hear from colleges across the island of Ireland who are leading the charge when it comes to teaching sustainable design practice, creating opportunities for discourse, and creating scaffolding between education and industry to ensure the skills of the future are at the forefront of teaching.
We will round out the session with a keynote presentation from leading Belfast-born artist, illustrator and author, Oliver Jeffers, whose commitment to the planet is told through award-winning movies and books.
Bring your openness and your energy. Be part of the conversation. Let's make change, together.
Design Declares is an initiative of the Institute of Designers Ireland in collaboration with the 100 Archive. It has been made possible thanks to funding from Creative Ireland, and the event support of Belfast School of Art.
