Design & Discover: Gears and Gizmos Lab - Ages 5-7 Friday, Jan 16 5:00-5:45Ages 5-7 (older 4 year olds are welcome, but this build is a bit more involved than the Air Lab)
In this workshop, students and their grown-up "lab partners" explore how simple machines create movement. We will build a gear-driven LEGO scarecrow to master the mechanics of rotational motion and "meshing" gear teeth.
The discovery continues as we transition to levers to create a mechanical, flapping paper crow to take home.
