Gala Day is a joint celebration between the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and the Daughters of the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine (A.E.A.O.N.M.S.). It's a day for the Nobles and Daughters to fellowship and honor each other, as well as Potentates, Commandresses, and Deputies. The original idea for Gala Day was presented to the Imperial Council in 1944 as Deputy's Day, but the Imperial Council later renamed it Gala Day.
