Des Bishop has unfortunately had to cancel his Melbourne International Comedy Festival run due to breaking his leg and the need for immediate surgery. Des says: “Hi everyone. Des here. I’m really sorry I have to cancel my trip to Melbourne because I broke my leg and ruptured my ACL skiing in Aspen. This is probably the least sympathy inspiring sentence I have ever written. I’m so sorry. I have to get Knee reconstruction surgery the first week of March and they have advised me that the trip to the festival will not be a good idea for the rehab from surgery. I’m heartbroken. I hope you all understand. I’ll see you in 2025.”
