The Derwent Class Association warmly invites you to the restoration launch of the beautiful "Mermaid" who has been restored at the Tasmanian Shipwrights Co. in Kettering. Three other Derwents have been completed and will be on show, Gremlin, Minerva and Nymph! The event will occur in the vicinity of the Oyster Cove Marina slip way, near the Travel Lift out area. Park in the carpark near the chandlery and walk out through the yard, please be aware that this is a high traffic working yard and care must be taken to ensure your safety and the safety of boat owners etc.
So come along and get a sneak peep at these incredible works of art before the Australian Wooden Boat Festival the following weekend!
