Join us for the April 2025 meeting of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club, The Briar Patch new book club dedicated to spine-tingling reads. Vol. 3 of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club will discuss Buffalo Hunter Hunter, a chilling historical horror novel tracing the life of a vampire who haunts the fields of the Blackfeet reservation looking for justice.Join us on Wednesday, April 9 at 7:30pm at BookSpace (48 Columbia St., Bangor) to talk about the novel, horror tropes and more. There will also be light refreshments!

For more than 35 years, The Briar Patch has inspired and delighted generations of readers of all ages in Bangor, Maine. Specializing in children's books and creative playthings from birth through high school, the shop also carries grownup books including fiction, cookbooks, titles on parenting, resources for teachers and more.
