Derrick Tea is a solo acoustic performer from Pennsylvania who has made West Virginia home. He came of age in the late 90s, early 2000s listening to bands like Matchbox Twenty, 3 Doors Down, Goo Goo Dolls, and Third Eye Blind. He became a musician at 14 years old after he found his mom's guitar in the garage. He spent several years playing open mics before pursuing his music career more seriously. His debut EP - Wandering Heart was released January 2025
