The Dermott Crawfish Festival Committee is a non-profit community-based organization established February 13, 2024. It is comprised of concerned Dermott citizens enthusiastic about the idea of continuing the annual event that began decades ago. The twenty-member committee consists of a chairperson, co-chairperson, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and fifteen active members. With the goal of sponsoring its first festival on the third weekend in May 2024, it was imperative that it solicit the support of businesses, corporations, and Dermott citizens; and with the outpouring support of twenty-six (26) sponsors and fifty-nine (59) supporters, we are looking forward to May 17th and 18th 2024. Words cannot express the gratitude each member of the Dermott Crawfish Festival Committee feels at this time. Thank you!
