About the event

GatewayC Live and Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance present The Dermoscopy Study Day. This study day will be available via live-stream and face-to-face to support primary care clinicians to hear the latest dermoscopy teachings and key information to support the early detection of skin cancer.

The forum is part of a shared commitment to improve knowledge of red flag symptoms, increase confidence in knowing when, and when not to refer, improve the quality of suspected cancer referrals, and improve patient communication.

Study day Q&A

Do I have to decide now whether I want to attend face-to-face or virtually?

Yes, you will need to select at checkout which option you would prefer. You will be unable to change your mind at a later date.

Will I get the same study day experience if I attend the virtual event only?

The face-to-face event is strongly recommended as this will provide you with a much richer experience and networking opportunities. The live stream is included for those who are unable to travel to the event to ensure as many clinicians as possible across Greater Manchester have the opportunity to participate.

Can I attend both the face-to-face and virtual conference?

No, you will only be able to select one ticket. All registered attendees will have access to the on-demand livestream following the event.

Where can I find further information?

Agenda and a viewing link for live-stream viewers will be distributed in due course.

COVID-19

As we learn to live with coronavirus (COVID-19), there are actions we can all take to help reduce the risk of catching COVID-19 and passing it on to others. These actions will help to reduce the spread of other respiratory infections, such as the flu, which can spread easily and may cause serious disease in some people.

Whilst event restrictions have been lifted, we are encouraging all attendees to please consider wearing a face covering. Please complete a lateral flow test before arrival and stay at home if showing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19.
