Comprehensive Dermal Filler Training

Empire Medical Training offers the most comprehensive Dermal Filler Training workshop, designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in dermal filler procedures. This full-day course is approved by the AMA for 8 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME™ and 8 contact hours of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The course focuses exclusively on dermal fillers, ensuring that participants receive specialized training in this area.

Our Dermal Filler Training workshop is a hands-on program that utilizes live patient models. Participants will train under the direct supervision of top board-certified aesthetic physician instructors, including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and multi-specialty trained aesthetic specialists practicing in the U.S. This high-level training covers FDA-approved HA and non-HA fillers from leading manufacturers, including Juvéderm® Ultra, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®, Bellafill®, and others. By the end of the course, participants will have gained the proficiency necessary to pass the onsite testing and earn certification.

The dermal filler market continues to grow annually, now being twice as large as the botulinum toxin market worldwide. Over 94% of the soft dermal filler market consists of hyaluronic acid (HA) products. Adding these safe and simple injection procedures can greatly benefit healthcare professionals and their practices. During this training program, you will learn to differentiate between available dermal fillers to select the best ones for your practice. You will also gain an understanding of how to evaluate dermal fillers based on their “G-Prime,” determine the appropriate product choice, and learn the best placement techniques for HA dermal fillers to match specific patient needs and indications. The workshop begins with intensive didactic material in the morning, followed by ample time in the afternoon to practice injections on volunteers. During this hands-on session, you will be closely supervised and guided by expert instructors.

Workshop registrants can access all prerequisite and preparatory course materials through Empire’s state-of-the-art educational portal (mymembersportal.com). The practitioner portal also includes essential information for your practice, such as treatment forms, consent forms, patient intake forms, before/after photos, and more.

You are required to complete the prerequisite coursework, which includes video lectures, presentations, and didactic materials (full-color manual), before attending the live patient practice hands-on training. Alternatively, you may choose the Empire-Virtual-Training™ option and watch the required “live” presentations on your mobile device. Instructors encourage participant engagement through our online chat option, with dedicated time for Q&A in each “virtual” session.
