Have you ever thought about learning to play Roller Derby?Join us for our Derby!U Orientation and info session on what it takes to be a Detroit Roller Derby skater. We will give you the rundown on our gear lending library, skating skills assessments, costs and time commitments. If you have questions about roller derby, this is the time and place to ask our skaters.
Equipment Needed for Orientation: (Must supply your own skates, limited pads and helmets are available to borrow)

Roller Skates (quad- speed style ankle height boot preferred)
Mouthguard preferred** Not required**
Only beginner skating skills are assessed to be invited to our bootcamp series, which starts with Skating Skills and moves into Roller Derby Skills before you can move into full contact scrimmages to become eligible to be drafted to one of our teams.
