On Friday, April 18th - get ready for a unique and unforgettable experience where creativity meets compassion and western charm! Hosted at MHR, this event combines a Derby Hat Bar experience with a curated wine tasting, all in support of saving and caring for rescues. Plan for about an hour to make your hat. At our unique Hat Bar, you can unleash your inner designer and craft your very own custom hat with guidance from our talented Hat Experts. You'll have access to a dazzling array of materials to make your hat truly one-of-a-kind!
What to Expect:
- Hat Bar: Design a custom derby hat (typically takes about 30min-1hour) with a variety of materials and expert guidance from Hat Experts. Hat style and color can be requested, but these are not guaranteed. We will do our best to ensure all requests are fulfilled, however hat styles and colors will be first come first serve during the event. All hats will come with a hat band and feathers. Additional embellishments will be available for purchase as well.
- Wine Tasting: Sip on a handpicked selection of wines from our local sommelier friend, perfectly curated to enhance your evening.
- Hors d'oeuvres: Enjoy a delicious variety of snacks to complement the wine and keep your energy up while you create and mingle with friends!
- Support a Worthy Cause: All proceeds from the evening will help provide care for our rescue horses. Your creativity will make a difference!
