If you're looking to get your home ready for winter, adding a thermal lining to curtains is a quick way to keep more heat in your home (and keep heat out in summer). But, we know not everyone has the tools and knowledge to do this.So, we've partnered with Warmer Derby and Derbyshire and Greener Littleover to deliver a free curtain lining session. Bring along your curtains and our team of volunteers will add a thermal lining for free.
While you wait, there will be support from other services including the Council's Home Energy Advice Service, Warmer Derby and Derbyshire and National Energy Action who can all provide advice and support to make your home more energy efficient as well as providing useful items like LED light bulbs and draught proofing kits, for free.
There will be information and support available from local health services.
We'll announce more partners and services that will be attending in the coming weeks.
