Described as a “comic thriller,” Alan Ayckbourn’s time-traveling tale "Communicating Doors" begins In the year 2044, when dominatrix for-hire Phoebe accidentally learns that her client murdered his first and second wives. Now she knows too much and is stalked by the killer. Escaping through the hotel’s hidden “communicating door,” a time portal, Phoebe is hurled back in time 20 years—to the very night of the M**der! Can she warn the potential victims, change history, and save all of their lives—in time?
Premiering in London in 1995, "Communicating Doors" was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy and won the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain’s award for Best West End Play.
