It's that time of year again DRD fans and we're going for a hat trick. This year will be our 3rd Annual Skate-a-Thon and instead of giving back to the Rollerdome this year, we're wanting to give back to our skaters.Our Skater Hardship Fund was officially established in 2010 to financially assist skaters who are experiencing a temporary hardship due to a major life event. Things like monthly dues to gear repair/replacement all the way down the line to potential cost of injury assistance can be considered eligible for funding. We all run into hard times occasionally and in those moments, the last thing we want to give up is the one thing that may make us happy or the one thing we look forward to. This year, we will revive our Skater Hardship Fund and make it available to all league members that encounter trying times or unexpected hardship. Any funds that are raised over the $5k goal will be put towards various projects around the Rollerdome. When the times get tough, we keep on rolling thanks to donations from our friends, family and fans both near and far. Thank you for supporting us and all our passions...it's people like you that keep us at the top of our game.
How to Donate
Per-Lap Pledge: Pick your favorite skater (or two or three!) and pledge an amount for every lap they complete during the Skate-a-Thon. The more they skate, the more we raise!
Flat Donation: Want to keep it simple? Make a flat donation to the league in support of the cause, and we’ll make sure your contribution goes directly toward our goals.
