Denver Comes Alive will return to Denver, CO’s The Mission Ballroom, Friday January 13 and Saturday January 14, 2023. Presented by Live For Live Music in partnership with AEG Rocky Mountains, the beloved marathon music event will expand to two nights for the very first time, keeping the focus on bluegrass for night one, followed by a funk-heavy evening on night two. The third edition of the annual Denver-based event, hosted by SiriusXM’s Ari Fink, will donate a portion of proceeds to Backline, the music industry’s mental health and wellness hub.
Friday’s bluegrass-centric evening taps Yonder Mountain String Band, Kitchen Dwellers, WinterWonderWomen (a brand new female-powered supergroup comprised of Lindsay Lou, Bridget Law, Mimi Naja, Megan Letts, Emma Rose, and Michelle Pietrafitta), and Maggie Rose, plus Artists-At-Large Jason Carter, Billy Failing, and Tyree Woods.
Saturday’s funk night features Lettuce, The Word, The Main Squeeze (performing a “Pulp Friction” set with special guests Will Phillips, Adryon De Leon, Shira Elias, Tiffany Johns, and Nick Gerlach), and Super Sonic Shorties (a new all-female supergroup featuring Nikki Glaspie, Katty Rodriguez, Tonya Sweets, Natalie Cressman, Ella Feingold, Amy Bellamy, Shirazette Tinnin, and Lenesha Randolph).
Denver Comes Alive experience with VIP packages including exclusive access to a private lounge with food provided by Lou's Italian Specialties in the West Balcony as well as a private viewing area with seats.
