The Citizen Academy is a 12-week program designed to open the lines of communication between the Denton County Sheriff’s Office and the community. It is the sincere desire of the Denton County Sheriff’s Office to develop a style of policing that reflects a collaborative effort between the community and police. Classes will meet every Monday evening for 12 weeks.
