In August 2023, at the Jus Blues Awards in Tunica, MS, Dennis received the Bobby Rush Blues Entertainer Award for his Outstanding Musicianship Performing Tradition Blues Music.
He also spent three years with The Bus Boys (Boys Are Back In Town) and was a member of The Zac Harmon Band, when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis TN.

Since 2003, Dennis has released 8 successful CDs, and a DVD. All released on his own label, Blue Rock Records. Each and every release has met with rave reviews. His latest album "About Time" was released in June 2024 and charted in the Top 20 for four weeks. The single “Don't Stop” spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 on BB Kings Bluesville Rack Of Blues. You can hear his music on blues radio stations in the US and around the world.
