Denim Day Community Event

Wear your favorite denim and join us at The White Room for an impactful and interactive Denim Day Community Event. Capturing the theme of HEAL (Hope, Empowerment, Allyship & Love) during national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) will be an art exhibit showcasing original pieces made by Survivors (about what HEALing means to them) and/or allies of Survivors (with a mesage of HEALing to Survivors). A short mini monologue "Mi Falda Corta/MyShort Skirt", the spoken word, a Survivor Story, words from Sen. Robyn Kennedy, MA Supreme Court Judge, Margaret Guzmen, and Mayor Joseph Petty. You can also interact with our "models in motion", create your own message of HEAL at one of our activities tables, meet & speak with the artists, learn how to support Survivors and so much more... we're packing a lot into only 90 minutes - so no time to waste!
