Solidaritetsnetværket Stop Annekteringen af Palæstina og palæstinensiske foreninger inviterer til demonstrationen ‘Hands off Palestine’ søndag d. 15. maj fra Vibenhus Runddel til Israels ambassade.
På trods af politiets voldsomme repression af vores demonstration d. 14. maj 2021 vender vi igen i år tilbage til den israelske ambassade. Vi tolerer ingen vold hverken fra politiet eller andre.
Hvert år den 15. maj mindes palæstinenserne al Nakba, som er det arabiske ord for katastrofe. Al Nakba refererer til begivenhederne i 1947-1948, hvor fordrivelsen af det palæstinensiske folk startede gennem systematisk etnisk udrensning udført af den zionistiske besættelsesmagt. I denne periode blev 750.000 palæstinensere fordrevet fra deres hjem, over 500 palæstinensiske byer og landsbyer affolket, ødelagt og efterfølgende geografisk slettet, og flere end 15.000 palæstinensere blev dræbt.
Efter al Nakba og 70 dokumenterede massakrer erklærede den zionistiske stat Israel sin "uafhængighed" d. 14. maj 1948. Som konsekvens af begivenhederne blev palæstinensernes ret til at vende tilbage nægtet, der blev skabt permanente palæstinensiske flygtninge, og det palæstinensiske samfund blev knust.
Al Nakba endte dog ikke i 1948. I dag, 74 år senere, fortsætter katastrofen gennem massefængslinger, annektering af mere palæstinensisk jord, fordrivelse, vold og drab. I dag er over 5 millioner palæstinensere flygtninge verden over, og de er stadig forbudt at vende tilbage til deres hjem i Palæstina. Israel er anklaget for op til flere krigsforbrydelser samt brud på menneskerettighederne, Folkeretten og utallige FN resolutioner.
I mindet om al Nakba og den fortsatte kamp har vi indkaldt til demonstration med følgende budskaber:
- Israel er et zionistisk koloniseringsprojekt og en apartheidstat
- Vi støtter ubetinget palæstinensernes ret til hele det historiske Palæstina og retten til at vende tilbage
- Stop besættelsen af hele det historiske Palæstina
- Israel skal sanktioneres og boykottes på alle niveauer
- Palæstinensernes befrielseskamp er legitim og skal støttes lokalt og internationalt
Fred begynder først, når verdens længste militærbesættelse er ophørt. Vi fortsætter kampen for frihed og retfærdighed for hele det palæstinensiske folk.

Dette er en fredelig demonstration, og aggressioner og uroligheder accepteres ikke. Vi har en gruppe demovagter til at hjælpe med at støtte og facilitere demonstrationen, og vi forventer god stemning og rolige forhold.

Stop ethnic cleansing in Palestine - 74 years of Nakba.
The solidarity network Stop the Annexation of Palestine and Palestinian associations invite to the demonstration 'Hands off Palestine' on Sunday 15 May from Vibenhus Runddel to the Israeli Embassy.
Despite the violent police repression of our demonstration on 14 May 2021, we will return again this year to the Israeli Embassy. We will not tolerate violence from the police or anyone else.
Every year on May 15, Palestinians commemorate al Nakba, which is the Arabic word for disaster. Al Nakba refers to the events of 1947-1948, when the expulsion of the Palestinian people began through systematic ethnic cleansing by the Zionist occupying power. During this period, 750,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes, over 500 Palestinian towns and villages were depopulated, destroyed and subsequently geographically erased, and more than 15,000 Palestinians were killed.
After al Nakba and 70 documented massacres, the Zionist state of Israel declared its "independence" on 14 May 1948. As a consequence of these events, the right of return of Palestinians was denied, permanent Palestinian refugees were created and Palestinian society was shattered.
Al Nakba did not end in 1948, however. Today, 74 years later, the disaster continues through mass imprisonment, annexation of more Palestinian land, expulsion, violence and killing. Today, over 5 million Palestinians are refugees worldwide and they are still forbidden to return to their homes in Palestine. Israel is accused of up to several war crimes as well as violations of human rights, international law and numerous UN resolutions.
In memory of al Nakba and the ongoing struggle, we have called for a demonstration with the following messages:
- Israel is a Zionist colonization project and an apartheid state
- We unconditionally support the right of Palestinians to all of historic Palestine and the right to return
- Stop the occupation of all of historic Palestine
- Israel must be sanctioned and boycotted at all levels
- The Palestinian liberation struggle is legitimate and must be supported locally and internationally
Peace only begins when the world's longest military occupation is ended. We continue the struggle for freedom and justice for all the Palestinian people.

Only Palestinian flags are allowed - no other national or party political flags or banners!
Only banners related to the Palestinian cause are accepted!
We do not tolerate any form of racism, including anti-Semitism!
This is a peaceful demonstration and aggression and riots will not be tolerated. We have a group of demo guards to help support and facilitate the demonstration, and we expect a good atmosphere and calm conditions.
