Now on it’s third installment, Demo Disc is a recurring screening series dedicated to bleeding edge contemporary experimental film, often borrowing from the aesthetics of y2k cyber surrealism and working at the increasingly blurred edge between live action film and realtime interactive media like games.
Demo Disc was started in spring of 2024 by Alex Hayden as a way of growing physical space for the experimental film community in LA. We are by the community and for the community.
This iteration will include work by Philip Thompson (@iamphilipt), Andrew Norman Wilson (@andrewnormanwilson_actually), and Nikita Diakur (@nikitadiakur) along with some unannounced works and additional surprises.
