Dementia Live® Simulation with the Howard County Department on Aging and Independence
Come join us for a hands-on experience at the CareFirst Engagement Center where you can step into the shoes of someone living with dementia. This event, hosted by the Howard County Department on Aging and Independence, will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain insight into the challenges faced by those living with dementia. Through interactive simulations, you will learn how to better understand and support individuals with dementia. Afterwards, certified dementia simulation instructors will answer questions and provide additional caregiving resources over a light lunch.
