The Dementia Dialogues® Training Program, offered by the South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care in partnership with LTSS and OSA, is a FREE 5-Module, nationally registered training course designed to educate health care providers, caregivers, first responders and community members about persons who exhibit signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Please join us to increase your knowledge and earn continuing education credit! The 5 Modules:
Module 01: "The Basic Facts," provides an overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias.
Module 02: "Keep the Dialogue Going" focuses on strategies for effective communication.
Module 03: "It’s a Different World" delves into the impact of the environment on individuals with dementia.
Module 04: "It’s Nothing Personal" addresses challenging behaviors.
Module 05: "Now What Do We Do?" Encourages creative problem-solving.
