Through interactive role plays and real-life insights, you’ll gain awareness, knowledge, and practical skills for your caregiving toolbox. We’ll explore communication changes, behavioral challenges, and how to preserve meaningful relationships with loved ones who are impacted by dementia.
About the speakers:
Kay Adams, LCSW is an author, coach, speaker, and educator. She is the founder of Compassion Works, LLC whose mission is to empower care partners and organizations impacted by dementia. Kay is the author of the award-winning book, Bedside Witness: Stories of Hope, Healing, and Humanity, and is widely known for bringing enthusiasm, integrity, humor, and a unique authenticity to her work.
Kathryn Quinlan is a certified and highly-experienced dementia educator and coach who is passionate about supporting people living with dementia and those entrusted with their care. Known for delivering fun, highly-engaging and interactive training sessions, Kathryn makes complex topics approachable and practical for families and professionals alike.
