About this Event

Learn how to notice the signs of dementia and what dementia is, and deliver an engaging training session.
What is dementia? What types of dementia are there? How to provide a clear delivery and engagement within a training session? What are the roles and responsibilities of a trainer? Why is it important to have an early diagnosis of dementia?

Our Dementia Awareness Train The Trainer course will help you answer the questions above and more.

2 out of 3 people diagnosed with dementia are women. 17,000 of those women are under 65 years old.

Through our Dementia Awareness Train The Trainer course, you will gain an understanding of how to deliver an effective and informative training session. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of trainers. You will learn what dementia is and what the different types are. You will learn the differences between the types of dementia and how they affect an individual. You will learn how different sections of the brain are affected by dementia.

Our two-day accredited Dementia Awareness trainer course provides a deeper understanding of the subject of dementia than a typical awareness course as well as developing skills and techniques for organising and delivering engaging training sessions.
