What is dementia? What resources are out there to help those families living with dementia? How can faith communities be in ministry with those living with dementia? These are just a few of the questions that the South Carolina Department of Aging and Bishop Kenneth Carder will be answering on May 28th at Cokesbury UMC as part of a statewide initiative to educate our communities on dementia. If you or a loved one are living with dementia or if you are interested in hearing how you can get involved, please make plans to join us for an informative morning. We will gather at 9:30, the program will last to 12pm, and you are invited to lunch afterwards to continue the discussion. This meeting is open to anyone in the area who is interested. Please register at the link below if you would like to attend. I hope you will join us as we debunk myths, share resources, and learn how much our sisters and brothers living with dementia still have to offer us!
Grace & Peace,
Pastor Bryan
