About this Event
This event is Part 2 of the 2021 Fall foliage event. This event is limited to those who have already obtained confirmed room reservations with the Mecersburg Inn for the night of September 25. If you do not already hold a confirmed reservation with the Mercersburg Inn for this night, you must obtain that confirmed reservation before confirming your response to this Eventbrite Invitation. There are a very limited number of overnight rooms available for this event. Please call the Mercersburg Inn at (717 )328-5231 and speak to the Inn Keeper "Tomi" to confirm your reservation (you will not be able to reserve the remaining rooms via the Internet, you must call and mention you are with the "Delval BMW" event). If there are no rooms remaining, we will start a waiting list in case there are cancellations.
Here is the information for this Part 2 event: For those up for a bit more adventure, immediately following the conclusion of our Part 1 lunch event at Kassel Performance in the York area, we will drive further west via a selected rural routing and end up in the town of Mercersburg, PA. Those participating in this Part 2 event will already have a reservation with the Inn. You will also need to plan to pay for dinner for your party at the Inn that evening. Your lodging there will include an excellent breakfast, followed by your drive home via your preferred routing on Sunday.
Due to the limited room capacity of the Mercersburg Inn, Part 2 of this event is limited to 17 parties (car loads?) or until all 17 rooms have been reserved. Unfortunately, this very small rural town is not able to provide additional accommodations and there are no feasible nearby alternative accommodations.
Assuming that we will be free of COVID mitigation requirements (or in accordance with them if we are not) our plan for the evening is that we convene in the beautiful bar area of the Inn for a cocktail hour and then adjourn to their dining area for a group dinner. We ask everyone to come prepared to support whatever protocols may be in place and we should be able to accommodate all needs and have an enjoyable event.
If the event fills up the Mercersburg Inn, and no more rooms are available, we will form a waiting list. The order of this waiting list will be based on the time we received notification from you (sent to [email protected]) that you want to be on the waiting list. We will offer rooms to those on the waiting list in that order if a cancellation occurs.
