In this deluxe, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art and technique of creating kokedama, also known as “moss balls.” You’ll build one stunning kokedama featuring two plants, blending textures and colors to create a truly eye-catching piece.
Our instructors will guide you through the step-by-step process—from soil preparation and root wrapping to moss layering and display tips—so you leave with the skills to create more at home.

The location of this workshop is 1101 E Whitaker Mill Road Suite 122 Raleigh NC 27604. Please arrive prior to or at the start time listed. Parking can be found in the parking garage at the Forge entrance, there is a gravel parking lot, as well as parking off of Whitaker Mill Road. Any participants that show up later than 10 minutes past the start time will not be caught up.
