Since 1981, Delta’s exquisite production of The Nutcracker has delighted local audiences of all ages. This holiday treat is helmed by Artistic Director, Joseph Giacobbe and accompanied by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. With international guest stars including Sarah Lane (American Ballet Theatre) and Chun Wai Chan (New York City Ballet), outstanding local professionals and a youth corps of young dancers from the Greater New Orleans Area, Delta Festival Ballet's The Nutcracker is THE show to see this holiday season.
Since its official beginning as a not-for-profit in 1969, Delta Festival Ballet has played a leading role in the cultural development of Louisiana.
