What is a pocket refuge? A pocket refuge is an area in the urban landscape that serves as a refuge for native plants and wildlife. These public spaces provide a place for the community to connect with nature while supporting biodiversity and pollinator activity.
No RSVP required and all ages are welcome, plants and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own tools and gardening gloves!
This event is hosted by the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, the National Wildlife Refuge Association, and the City of Delray Beach Parks & Recreation Department.
