Delivering Democracy 2025 Spike Lee (In Person)

Academy Award® winner Spike Lee is an iconic filmmaker and storyteller whose body of work has left an indelible mark on both film and television. Currently, he’s in production on High and Low, his fifth collaboration with Denzel Washington, slated for global release on AppleTV+. His recent projects include directing Da 5 Bloods for Netflix and adapting his classic She’s Gotta Have It into a series for the platform. He is also finalizing a multi-part documentary on activist and athlete Colin Kaepernick for ESPN Films.

Our Delivering Democracy events consider the nature of democracy and the subtle, emphatic, historic and contemporary issues that shape this essential national ideal.
