Enjoy a special haveli sangeet performance and encounter pichwais from the NMAA collections through insights from community members, curators, conservators, and a conservation scientist. Haveli sangeet refers to traditional devotional music sung daily in Pushtimarg temples to joyfully honor and celebrate Krishna.
"Delighting Krishna: Paintings of the Child-God" is part of The Arts of Devotion, a five-year initiative at the National Museum of Asian Art dedicated to furthering civic discourse and understanding of religion. This program is made possible by Lilly Endowment Inc.
