The Berkshires come alive during the holiday season, and the weekend leading up to the holiday is a busy time in Great Barrington with both residents and tourists filling downtown to finish their holiday shopping!

This year GBAM we will be getting festive in the beautiful, window lined boutique space above the ever-popular Berkshire Food Co-Op located in the heart of downtown Great Barrington!
Delightful & Delectable is a curated holiday market featuring local and regional handmade gifts and delicious treats in a variety of media and price ranges.
Get ready for a stunning lineup of local artists and makers as well as light fare in a beautiful and festive environment. With over 25 makers, Delightful and Delectable offers market goers a chance to shop a variety of gifts and support the local artist community at the same time.
Our mission is to provide revenue for Berkshire and regional based artists & offer locally made products to consumers year-round. GBAM seeks to bring local artists directly to market with potential customers and adds another exciting destination to Great Barrington’s already vibrant downtown. The Berkshire Co-Op Market is located in the heart of downtown Great Barrington making it even easier and more convenient for customers to enjoy shopping for holiday gifts.
Market managers Kristen Kanter and Molly de St André are both artists (of JK Custom Furniture & Design and Petit Pilou/Moho Designs/Berkshire Four Poster) who love the idea of helping connect other local craftspeople with a viable market opportunity and have grown the Great Barrington Arts Market into a thriving weekly summer and winter standard.
In time for peak gifting season, Delightful and Delectable is a holiday tradition in Great Barrington drawing shoppers eager to enjoy delicious local food and one of a kind wares from a handpicked group of local artisans. Every year brings a uniquely curated lineup of local creators,” says Kanter. “Whether it be familiar GBAM summer favorites or new artisans and food purveyors in the mix, our makers love to surprise our shoppers with their latest creations each holiday season. Being in proximity to the Hudson Valley and Connecticut allows us to select the highest quality and diverse group of vendors, setting our Delightful and Delectable Holiday Market apart from other Berkshire-based holiday events.
De St André and Kanter believe that the conscious shopper recognizes how important it is to support the local economy and that a venue for artists to sell their work directly to the community is an obvious match to vibrant downtown Great Barrington. In a community where so many residents believe in the importance of keeping dollars local, GBAM offers locals and tourists a festive and unique shopping experience.
