About this Event

The 153rd Delaware General Assembly will open this January in Dover with new leadership in the House, new members taking office for the first time, and a new governor elected to statewide office for the first time.

Before the season begins, Spotlight Delaware invites you to hear from legislative leadership about the opportunities and challenges of the 2025 legislative year. You’ll join community advocates, business and nonprofit leaders, and other engaged citizens for panel discussions of the top issues of the day, and intimate chats with leadership about their top priorities – with plenty of opportunities to share your ideas and vision with elected officials.

Join us in Dover for the inaugural Spotlight Delaware Legislative Summit, co-hosted by Delaware State University.

The Delaware Legislative Summit will be held in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center on the campus of Delaware State University. Price of admission includes lunch.
