WHAT: Our 15-year reunion (fuck, we’re old!)
WHERE: Artie’s Bar and Grill event room
WHEN: December 20th, 8-11 PM
WHY: Reconnect, reminisce about the glory days of high school, and revisit embarrassing memories
What to do:
1. Please Venmo me a cover charge of $8 (https://venmo.com/u/Michael-Perrone-53) no later than December 18th.
2. DM me any moderately appropriate videos or photos from our high school days (Messenger app or text preferred).
3. Spread the word to anyone off of Facebook.
Other info:
• We’re keeping this event cheap. The $8 cover charge pays off the event room reservation fee of $300 and does not include food or booz.
o If we gather more than $300, I can either push out partial refunds over Venmo, talk to Artie’s about applying the extra funds towards a drink credit, or donate to a Del Val-affiliated charity/organization of our choosing.
• Event room includes: its own bar with 1-2 bartenders, bathrooms, 80-120 seats, dance floor, stage, and projector.
• Entertainment: No DJ, but Artie’s has a juke box and generally plays background country music.
• Decorations: Fuck that shit! I’ll work up a dinky slide deck of yearbook and Facebook pics/vids, as well as any other moderately appropriate content you’s guys send me. The slide deck will be projected on the stage.
• No planned events other than a dumbass speech/toast from me, probably around 9 PM.
• The 8-11 PM time block is fully reserved for us. Everyone is encouraged to eat/pregame before showing up.
• Facebook will be the only site I publish info from. I’d greatly appreciate your help with spreading the word.
• Significant others outside of our class are welcome to join.
• House rules: NO outside food or booz allowed
I’m fuckin pumped to see you’s guys. It sucks that COVID ruined our 10-year plan, but everything is locked in for this shindig. Hit me up if you have additional questions or cheap ideas to make this more fun.
