Well known regional pastel artist Mary Jane Erard presents a comprehensive workshop, focusing on the technique of combining soft pastel with charcoal to achieve light and textured effects reminiscent of Degas.
Participants will explore the application of these mediums on toned tan papers and discuss traditional pastel methods, catering to artists of all skill levels.
A basic Faber-Castell soft pastel kit is recommended, or participants may bring their own soft pastels. Charcoal pencils or vine charcoal are also required. All necessary materials are available at Art Supply Depo.
All other supplies are included.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
