We are proud, along with Makom Shelanu Congregation, to be hosting a showing of “1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted Culture”.
The viewing is free, but we are working to raise some money at the event. There’s no obligation to make a donation, but we hope that when registering, or after viewing the film, people will be inspired to give a suggested donation of $8. All proceeds raised will benefit Defense of Democracy
Defense of Democracy is a grass-roots organization with chapters all over the U.S. Our mission is to educate the public on the importance of the public school and library systems in a functioning democracy and provide training, tools and coordination for volunteer engagement in communities across the country.
Parking is available on Lipscomb St across the street from the east side of the church. Handicap accessible is the lot on the east side of the building. Street parking is also available.
