Commemorating the British attack on Baltimore and the birth of the "Star Spangled Banner," Defenders Day is one of the premier events in the greater Chesapeake Bay theater for the War of 1812 community. Joining forces with the Fort McHenry Guard, the Chesapeake Independent Blues will be portraying members of the Maryland Militia who helped to defend bot the city and Fort McHenry during the British attack.Subject to change due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
