Deer Processing WorkshopSaturday, October 11

Congratulations, you were successful in harvesting a deer this year! Now what? The Outdoor Adventure Center, in partnership with the Hunters Feeding Michigan program, is excited to teach participants the steps it takes to process a deer. Some of the topics included in the workshop will be field-dressing basics and breaking down the deer into different meat groups. We’ll end with a cooking demonstration, where participants will enjoy venison backstraps and take-home recipes.
Participants must be age 12 or older.
Preregistration is required. Cost is $60 per person.
