With the fence posts set and ready to go, attendees will learn hands-on how to tension the fencing and install gates. Additionally, livestock farmer Matt Hardy will be on hand to talk about fencing options for livestock farmers and how to acquire this crop- and livestock-saving infrastructure.
This field day is open to everyone but will be particularly helpful for vegetable farmers who own land, vegetable farmers who are renting land, and livestock farmers who are interested in getting fencing.
