The Deepest Part is a local initiative to collect and share experiences of and getting through the wildfire complex of 2024. Everyone is welcome. The goal is to collect stories shared in any creative expression; poems, journal entries, song lyrics, plays; drawings, paintings, sculptures. You can contribute in any format that helps tell your story or just come along to a gathering and check it out.
At weekly gatherings you can expect hot drinks, light snacks, laughter, creative prompts and community in a welcoming space.
Pick up the project booklet or download a copy of the project booklet in the link below. The booklet has info on the project, creative prompts and a timeline to get you started. You can also pick up a printed copy in the library.
Anyone is able to come along and there is no expectation or pressure to share or submit your reflections.
