Grounded in mindfulness and sensory awareness practices, this session offers guided space to slow down and connect more deeply with nature.
About this Event

WHAT IS IT? –

Grounded in mindfulness and sensory awareness practices, this guided workshop will support you to immerse your senses in nature, slow down and connect more deeply with yourself, your community and the natural world.

The session is structured with a series of 'invitations' which help you to explore your connection to nature and your inner space. Invitations can come in various forms, from intentionally witnessing/feeling a certain element of a natural space (e.g., water, wind) to time for slow walking and much more. The session involves some light walking as we travel between different natural spaces.

We also create space to connect as a group through mini-sharing circles, where we can reflect on the experiences we have had. Many find this process to be a powerful tool for cultivating greater wellbeing, supporting mental health and connecting to community.

WHO LEADS IT?-

Your guide: Tom Ball

I have a great belief in the healing power and transformative potential of time in nature. This strong belief has led me to qualify as an Integrative Forest Therapy Guide with Nádúr Centre for Integrative Forest Therapy and complete Change In Nature's Nature Facilitator training.

I have had the privilege of running workshops across South West England and abroad in Romania. These workshop offerings are part of my exploration into how I can create space for people to be supported in their own path by our amazing natural world. I look forward to connecting and journeying with you.

HOW CAN I JOIN IN?-

To join the workshop you must book a ticket. You can book a ticket by clicking the 'Register' button on this event page.

If you have booked a ticket and can now no longer attend, please get in contact with the details below to let me know. We can offer the space out to someone else.

Please note: if you arrive more than 10 minutes after the listed event start time you may be refused entry to the event or we may have already left the meeting location. This is to ensure the group is not disturbed once the event has begun and we keep to time.
