Step away from the busyness of life and sink into complete rest with Restorative Yoga Nidra in the serene Mongolian yurt at Acorn & Owl, nestled at Stoney Creek Garden Center in Yellow Springs.

Led by Linda Herrmann, YTT200 and certified Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra Instructor, this special class blends gentle restorative postures with the deeply healing practice of Yoga Nidra—often called “yogic sleep.” With the support of props, your body will fully release tension while your mind is guided through layers of awareness, including body sensing, breathwork, and soothing imagery.

What to Expect:

Fully supported restorative poses designed for deep release
A guided Yoga Nidra meditation inviting profound calm and relaxation
Tools to reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia

About Your Guide, Linda Herrmann

Linda’s yoga journey began in her teens but deepened following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2015. Yoga became a sanctuary for healing, presence, and gentle movement. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Day Yoga in Dayton (2022) and earned certification in Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra with Jennifer Reis (2023).

Linda specializes in gentle, yin, and restorative yoga—creating nourishing, welcoming spaces rooted in breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement. Off the mat, she enjoys nature, gardening, and fiber arts. She lives in Troy, Ohio, with her husband, Peter, their Goldendoodle Elle, and delights in time with her five children and four grandchildren.
