Join Courtney for Deep Rest - A Yoga Nidra “chillshop” on Sunday, March 2nd from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm!Yoga Nidra is yogic sleep, or sleep with awareness. The practice of deep rest holds magic and is said to be “peace beyond words.” We all know what unrested bodies and minds feel like, and the practice of Yoga Nidra is the antidote to stress, tension, and fatigue. In this “chillshop”, you will gain an understanding of Yoga Nidra as both a means to freedom - and freedom itself. There will be a lecture, space for questions and reflection, and plenty of time to dive into a sweet, full practice. Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a notebook, an eye covering, an extra blanket or a pillow, and anything else to help prepare you to enter a deep, meditative state of consciousness. This practice is sacred and transformative, and Courtney believes it should be shared with every human being. Participants will also receive an audio recording of a full Yoga Nidra practice after the “chillshop”.
