This interactive experience connects mind, body, and spirit through the power of sound.Deep Listening is closer to meditation and not a performance or recording based listening experience. Legendary composer and thought leader, Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016) developed this interactive program that taps into sound and helps individuals connect with emotions, feelings, memory, and dreams. Whether you are seeking to improve communication in your relationships or a musician wanting to improve collaborative and improvising skills, Deep Listening is for you. Certified Deep Listening instructor and Florida composer, Keith Lay has led the program for years and can attest to its value. While it is best for two or more to attend together and is great for group team building, individuals can attend solo as well. You don’t need to have any musical ability or instrument to attend. Instruments are provided. An introductory level of Tai Chi and Qigong plus light walking are all part of the fun.
