About this Event
Friday, February 21, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
The Theosophical Society is thrilled to welcome back Benjamin Savage for an immersive gong meditation session.
Gong meditation is a transformative practice that harmonizes the mind and body through powerful sound vibrations. By blending shamanic, yogic, and sound therapy techniques, Benjamin will guide participants into a deeply meditative state. This unique experience helps integrate past traumas, release stress, balance the body, and awaken a sense of wonder.
Whether you're a seasoned meditator or new to the practice, this session offers an opportunity for profound healing and expanded consciousness. If traditional meditation has left you wanting, gong meditation could be the immediate solution you’ve been seeking.
What to Bring:
● A comfortable mat to lie on
● A blanket and pillow
● An eye covering
● Chairs are available for those who prefer not to lie on the floor
Benjamin Savage has spent a lifetime exploring spiritual traditions searching for the unifying elements that connect us. More than 15 years ago his search led him to the gongs, which seem to be a portal for connecting with the oneness that connects and permeates all things. He has developed a unique way of playing the gongs, as well as singing bowls and other instruments, to craft an immersive sound bath experience. Benjamin lives in the Northern Chicago suburbs and hosts gong events all over the Chicago area throughout the year. He is trained as a master with many of the leaders of this performance art and spiritual experience. More can be found about Benjamin at benjaminsavage.com.
