As facilitators and coaches, we are skilled to solve relationship problems, world issues and lifestyle disturbances. We help communities resolve their challenges and teams to collaborate better. As Deep Democracy facilitators and coaches, problem solving is only one of our goals. A deeper goal is to be part of a process of discovering "dreaming", the structure of meaning, wholeness, personal and community growth, and happiness for people and communities.
Deep Democracy starts in our own hearts and lives. Our inner peace and happiness is linked to inner work practice where we connect to our emerging parts, pulled by our futures and not driven by past history.
In this seminar we study and practice the Deep Democracy inner work approach, facilitate our own inner teams, and work on bringing the resulting insights and energy immediately into our private and professional lives - where the rubber meets the road. This seminar is for facilitators, coaches and everyone who enjoys the adventure of self discovery beyond the given narratives and traditional deficit psychology, and wishes to bring the results to their personal and/or professional lives.
The workshop will include theoretical presentations, practical work in dyads, inner work and group work.
Seminar hours:
March 4th: 1p.m. - 5p.m.
March 5th: 10a.m. - 1p.m., 2p.m. - 5p.m.
March 6th: 10a.m. - 1p.m.
Seminar Fee: 280 Euro

Max + Ellen Schupbach
We are the co-founders of the Deep Democracy Institute, an international think tank and learning hub.
We are facilitators applying our skills and experience in multiple settings as facilitators of large groups, teams, and individual processes. Our work has brought us to over 70 countries on all continents. We have consulted religious organizations of diverse denominations, social movements, and warring factions in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, South East Asia and Africa.
Our work is based on Arnold Mindell’s Process Work and Deep Democracy paradigm. We live together in Florence on the Oregon Coast. Ellen is an early bird and a lover of yoga, music and singing. Max loves running, cold water swimming, and reading “off the beaten track” publications on culture and dissident views regarding common sense narratives for today’s problems.
