Created to foster skill-building, independence, and meaningful connection, Owen’s Place will serve individuals with developmental disabilities and promote community engagement.
At the heart of Owen’s Place is Lanny’s Counter, a gathering spot funded by the Gelfand Family in loving memory of Lanny Gelfand. A founding member of the David Posnack Jewish Community Center, Lanny embodied the values of generosity, inclusion, and warmth. His legacy will continue to nourish and inspire all who gather here.
