Get creative and create decorations with us for our Christmas tree! Adults and children are all welcome!This year, we've been offered a charity Christmas tree in Princesshay shopping centre.
This is a very exciting opportunity to get crafty and festive together as well as spread awareness about Devon MNVP.
You can drop in at any time between 1pm and 4pm at the Baby Room to create your own decoration. Then you're also welcome to join us between 4pm and 5pm to decorate the tree in Bedford Street (in Princesshay Shopping Centre)
What's the theme of the Christmas tree?
The theme for the tree is "Your story matters". It's a place to celebrate the uniqueness of your story. You can create decorations which celebrate your journey.
If you feel comfortable to and want to, we'll also be around to listen to your story. At Devon MNVP, we know everyone's journey is different and unique. We're here to represent you and advocate for change in maternity services based on your voice.
What decorations can I make?
We have a variety of decorations you can make!
- Fill your own bauble - we have feathers, stars, confetti, bells and lots of things to go inside
- Paint your own star or heart
- Picture frames
We'll provide all resources but feel free to bring along pictures or anything you'd like to hang on the tree.
